 Fibertech is a project of JOBS Trust
Bangladesh, a locally registered trust popularly known as JOBS. JOBS
supports employment generation, business and sector growth through a
combination of enterprise development training, technical skills
development, and linkage creation between producers, buyers and
markets. Since 1998, JOBS has generated over $57 million in local
sales and $70 million in export sales; trained more than 70,000
people; created over 40,000 jobs; and implemented over 1000 projects
and activities covering over 70 percent of the geographical area of
Bangladesh. For the past nine years JOBS has played a major role in
market-led sector development in collaboration with numerous
development partners such as local NGOs, private sector businesses,
and business associations, as well as other donor funded projects,
many of which are under the larger UN umbrella.

 Fibertech manufactures high-quality
fiberglass dress form dummies and display mannequins. Our production
shop is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Our clients are garment
manufacturers, fashion designers and clothing retailers.

helps individuals. Fibertech participates in a program that provides
economic rehabilitation to former injecting drug users. The program
is funded by U.S. Agency for International Development and is being
implemented by Family Health International. Fibertech provides
technical training and jobs to rehabilitated drug users and has
enhanced their opportunities toward better working lives.
